Lucinda Lynn 'Cindy' Schaefer, a 16-year-old Caucasian female, was tragically murdered on June 24, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. Cindy had recently moved to the area to stay with her grandparents and planned to spend the summer working and enjoying the beach. Her life was cut short by Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris, infamously known as the 'Toolbox Killers'. Cindy was abducted, assaulted, and killed by these two men, who used various tools to torture and murder their victims.
