In January 1993, the life of 51-year-old Betty Williams, a White female, was cut tragically short in her Portland, Oregon, home. Her death was not the result of a simple illness or accident, but a terrifying home invasion that ended in the most unexpected and devastating way. The man responsible, Cesar Barone, had broken into her residence with the intention of committing a sexual assault. In the midst of this violent and horrifying attack, Betty Williams suffered a fatal heart attack.
