Shirley Williams, a 41-year-old African American woman, was found dead on March 10, 1991, in Dallas, Texas. Her body was discovered on a road, and it was evident that she had been brutally murdered. The most shocking aspect of her death was that her eyes had been surgically removed, a gruesome detail that led to widespread media coverage and public outrage. This horrific act was part of a series of murders committed by Charles Albright, also known as "The Eyeball Killer".
