Bobby Booth

Trooper II Bobby Steve Booth, aged 27, was a dedicated officer with the Texas Department of Public Safety - Texas Highway Patrol. On June 16, 1993, while responding to a disturbance call at a roadside park north of Stratford, TX, Trooper Booth encountered a man waving a gun. During the ensuing struggle, the suspect managed to gain control of Trooper Booth's service weapon and shot him multiple times. Tragically, Trooper Booth succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
