Joyce Volrie, a 62-year-old woman from Beaumont, Texas, was tragically shot to death on June 24, 2004. She was found on the side of Walden Road, having been left for dead after the shooting. The investigation into her death revealed that her estranged husband, Lester Eugene Volrie, was the prime suspect.
