Detective Mario Moreno, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2007, in San Antonio, Texas. Detective Moreno was a dedicated member of the San Antonio Police Department, having served for 11 years. He was also a United States Marine Corps veteran who had served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
