Amanda Jo Earhart-Savell, a 30-year-old professional fitness competitor and figure athlete, tragically died on June 6, 2008, in Plano, Texas. She was found shot multiple times in the home of David Jacobs, a convicted steroids dealer. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a homicide.
