Shirlette Stephens Green, a 44-year-old woman of African American ethnicity from Marshall, Texas, tragically passed away on September 6, 2010. She was fatally shot in the upper chest by her husband, Jeffery Charles Green. Shirlette succumbed to her injuries shortly after the incident.

Jeffery Charles Green was arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with his wife's death. A Harrison County jury found him guilty, and he was sentenced to sixteen years in prison and fined $5,000 ...
