On December 16, 2010, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, 45-year-old Vivian Mitchell lost her life to gun violence. Details surrounding the incident indicate that it was an apparent double murder-suicide, reportedly connected to issues involving her ex-boyfriend. Another individual, 35-year-old Junior Lee Whorton, was also killed in the same incident.
