Chris Kyle, a 38-year-old white male and former Navy SEAL, was tragically killed on February 2, 2013, at a shooting range near Chalk Mountain, Texas. Kyle, who was renowned for his service as a sniper and author of the bestselling autobiography "American Sniper," was shot alongside his friend, Chad Littlefield, a 35-year-old white male. The perpetrator, Eddie Ray Routh, a 25-year-old white male and former Marine, was later arrested and charged with their murders.
