transferred to Meridian Care, a nursing home. His condition deteriorated significantly during his stay at the nursing home, where his mother, Tammy Davis, alleged that he was mistreated and neglected. Davis claimed that Koah was often left in his own feces, vomit, and was not properly cleaned, which led to multiple infections and trips to the ICU. His last trip to the ICU was fatal.
Davis has been seeking justice for her son's death, alleging that the poor care at Meridian Care hastened his demise. A lawyer is gathering records to build a case against the nursing home and those responsible for Koah's mistreatment. Despite the family's efforts, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting or the alleged mistreatment at the nursing home.
The case remains open, and Davis continues to advocate for accountability from both the shooters and the caregivers who contributed to Koah's suffering.
