Darren Jenkins, a 31-year-old male from Pine-grove, TX, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2014. The incident occurred on a Thursday night, and Jenkins was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital around 11 p.m. He was pronounced dead around 6 a.m. the following day. The cause of death was a shooting, which took place in the Pine Grove community. The Newton County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Jenkins was a victim of this violent act.
