Azareyh Aleyiah Owens, a one-year-old girl of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on October 20, 2014, in Ledbetter, Texas. She was the victim of a fatal shooting at her home, which also resulted in the death of her mother, Justice Martinez, aged 19. The incident was determined to be a homicide by the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office.
