Roland Cruz, a 28-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred when Cruz was riding in the backseat of a sport utility vehicle . A confrontation between two juveniles escalated, leading to one of them, a 16-year-old, opening fire on the SUV's rear windshield. Cruz was struck in the back of his head and was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the shooting.
