Tyrell Washington, a 20-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot on the night of March 30, 2013, in the 8900 block of Riverview. The incident took place in the parking lot near Riverview Plaza just after 9:30 p.m. During the altercation, Tyrell was struck by a gunshot wound to the chest, while another man in his twenties received a minor injury and was taken to a local hospital.
