Teresa Lynn Custer, a 37-year-old woman from Texas City, Texas, tragically lost her life on December 23, 2018. Teresa, who was employed as a manager at the Fairfield Inn on Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, was the victim of a fatal shooting during an armed robbery at the hotel. The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on December 22, 2018, when a masked man entered the hotel lobby and shot Teresa before fleeing the scene in a white pickup truck.
