Thearon Lee Clark, a 25-year-old African American man from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 11, 2019. Clark was fatally shot behind a gas station in the Humble area of north Harris County. According to authorities, Clark was shot around 4 a.m. after meeting up with the suspected gunman, Jasqueinne Maximilion Brown. The incident occurred behind the gas station near Aldine Bender Road.
Clark was transported to Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, where he was later pronounced dead.
Jasqueinne Maximilion Brown, who was 27 years old at the time, was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with Clark's death. Brown was taken into custody on his 27th birthday and has been held without bond. Authorities believe that Clark and Brown may have met to perform a drug transaction, and Brown allegedly attempted to rob Clark before shooting him.
In addition to Brown, another individual, Howard Burton, was also charged with capital murder in connection with Clark's death. Burton, who was 30 years old, was accused of being involved in the robbery and shooting. Burton was charged after authorities collected evidence, including surveillance footage and witness statements, which implicated him in the crime.

He claimed that he, along with two other individuals identified as "UPS" and "Flame," planned to rob Clark. Brown led Clark to the back of the gas station, where Burton, identified as "Flame," shot Clark.
