Rebecca Lee Cantu, a 19-year-old Hispanic woman from Edinburg, Texas, tragically lost her life on December 10, 2019. She was found dead in her apartment along with her mother, Magdalena Cantu, 48, and nurse Aaron Cortez, 30. The perpetrator, Saul Avila, 57, Rebecca's mother's boyfriend, also died by suicide at the scene. Rebecca's young son was the sole survivor of the horrific incident.
