Michael Anthony Hackney Jr., a 32-year-old African American male from Killeen, Texas, tragically died on March 15, 2020. He was shot at Club Krush in Harker Heights, Texas, during an altercation that escalated from a verbal argument to a physical fight. Hackney was transported to Scott & White Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following the incident, Cleve Dantron Marcel Franklin was arrested in connection with Hackney's murder. Franklin was taken into custody on March 18, 202 ...
