Justin Devar Scott, a 33-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed on November 8, 2020, in Jasper, Texas. The incident occurred at the corner of Peachtree and Cavin Streets, where officers found Scott lying on the ground in front of a residence. He had been shot with a small caliber weapon and succumbed to his injuries shortly after police arrived.
