Mart Hanna, a 68-year-old retired Houston police officer, was fatally shot on December 14, 2020, in his Kerrville, Texas neighborhood. The incident occurred after a dispute with his neighbor, Kenneth Brown, a 71-year-old retired U.S. Customs officer. According to the Kerr County Sheriff's Office, both men drew their weapons and exchanged gunfire, resulting in Hanna's death. Brown was not injured. The Texas Rangers were called in to assist with the investigation.
