Griselda Lorena Martinez, a 51-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on May 25, 2021, in West, Texas. She was killed in what was determined to be a murder-suicide incident. The incident began as a possible kidnapping, with Martinez being forcibly taken from her workplace parking lot by her former partner, Angel Aguilar, who was 44 years old. Surveillance footage captured the altercation, showing Aguilar dragging Martinez into a vehicle.
