Denejea Dyon Wells, a 24-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 4, 2021, in Houston, Texas. She was found deceased in an apartment located at 9601 West Montgomery Road, with an apparent gunshot wound. The Houston Police Department responded to a shooting call at approximately 1:40 a.m. and discovered her body upon arrival. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
