Robert Lovings Polk, a 22-year-old Army veteran, was found dead on October 15, 2015, in a St. Louis alley after being reported missing since October 3. Polk's disappearance began when he left home to meet someone regarding a car advertised on Craigslist. His body was discovered in a badly decomposed state behind the 8000 block of Frederick Avenue.
