Felix Rivera III, a 46-year-old man from Fabens, Texas, tragically died on November 25, 2021, after being shot by a family member in what authorities described as a case of "family violence and criminal mischief." The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day at around 5:08 p.m. at Rivera's home on NE Pinkerton Street. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Rivera dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The suspect, a family member of Rivera, surrendered to deputies at the scene.
