Robert Dwayne Grant, a 44-year-old African American man from Houston, was fatally shot on August 13, 2022, in Orange, Texas. He was standing near his vehicle on Pine Avenue in downtown Orange when he was shot multiple times. Grant was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where he succumbed to his injuries.
