Richard Mike Scarlett, a 66-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, was found shot to death in his Joshua, TX home on October 6, 2022. His wife, Kay Scarlett, aged 68, was also found dead at the scene. The couple's deaths were ruled homicides by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.

Authorities identified their 28-year-old son, Samuel Paul Scarlett, as a person of interest in the case. Samuel was initially arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, as the couple's truck was found ...
