Ashley Durrell Sampson, a 33-year-old Black man, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of September 26, 2012, in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Lime Avenue, where Sampson was sitting on his front porch around 8:50 p.m. when he was struck by gunfire.
