Haley Nicole Wilcutt, a 19-year-old female, was fatally shot on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The incident, which occurred around 4 p.m., was the result of a robbery attempt. Following the shooting, she was transported to the Hardin County Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
The investigation into the death of the young woman, who was born in Jackson, Tennessee, on August 24, 1999, quickly led to the identification of two suspects. Levar Summers of Nashville and Ivory Cunningham of Savannah were taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting. The investigation revealed that Wilcutt was with Cunningham when Summers appeared and attempted to rob him. During the course of the attempted robbery, Wilcutt was shot.
