Semika Shontrell Davis, a 37-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 5, 2019, in Union City, Tennessee. She was found lying in the street in the 700 block of East Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. around 10:19 p.m. on that fateful night. Medical personnel discovered that she had suffered a gunshot wound and pronounced her dead at the scene.
