On a Sunday in September 2021, the quiet of Coffee County, Tennessee, was broken by the discovery of a grim scene at a home on Clyde Vickers Road in Estill Springs. Inside, authorities found the bodies of 27-year-old Chasity Kay Hill and 22-year-old Logan Tindale. Both had been fatally shot in what was immediately investigated as a double homicide. The tragedy was compounded by the fact that Hill was three months pregnant at the time of her murder.
The Coffee County Sheriff's Department, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, launched an intensive investigation. On the following Wednesday, investigators arrested two suspects in connection with the killings. The men were identified as 54-year-old Ronald A. Archey and 26-year-old Cullen B.
