Breunna Woods, a 16-year-old African American girl and junior cheerleader at Wooddale High School in Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on December 3, 2021. Breunna and her 15-year-old best friend were shot and killed at a gas station after attending a basketball game. Another teen girl and her infant were injured in the incident.
