Christopher Ray Welch, a 48-year-old man from White Pine, Tennessee, tragically died on January 3, 2022, as a result of a domestic-related shooting. The incident occurred at a Pilot gas station on Roy Messer Highway during a custody exchange involving Welch, his 16-year-old daughter Teagan Welch, and Teagan's stepfather, Pastor Kenneth Cook. The shooting resulted in the deaths of all three individuals.
