Marquisa Antionette Turner, 33, a Black woman, was killed on the night of December 27, 2022, after gunfire tore through her family’s home on North 17th Avenue in Humboldt, Tennessee. Police were dispatched around 9:52 p.m.; officers and medics found Turner with a gunshot wound, and she was taken to the West Tennessee Healthcare Milan emergency room, where she was pronounced dead.
