William Forke, a 35-year-old male of European descent, tragically lost his life on November 5, 1934, in Kelayres, Pennsylvania. His death was part of a violent incident known as the Kelayres Massacre, which occurred during an election-eve parade and rally organized by Democrats. As the parade passed the home of Joseph James Bruno, a local Republican boss, multiple shooters from the Bruno family opened fire on the unarmed participants.
