Death by Force

Peter Levato, a 49-year-old man from Saltsburg, PA, was tragically killed on December 27, 1979. Levato was carjacked by John Lesko and Michael Travaglia, both 21 years old, in an alley behind the old Edison Hotel in Pittsburgh. The assailants forced Levato into the trunk of his car and drove to Loyalhanna Dam, where they shot him.
