Leonard Clifford Miller, a 21-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, was a patrolman with the Apollo Borough Police Department in Pennsylvania. On January 3, 1980, Patrolman Miller was shot and killed while pursuing a vehicle that had sped past him twice. As he approached the vehicle, he was shot twice in the chest. The suspects, both 21-year-old males, were later apprehended and identified as Michael Travaglia and John Lesko.
