Kalvin Montrell White, 24, a Black male, was shot and killed in north Minneapolis on August 10, 2012. In the early hours of that Friday, police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Dupont Avenue North after reports of gunfire; responders found an adult male inside a residence on that block who died of his injuries.
