Tyrone Torress Washington, a 27-year-old man, was fatally shot on November 3, 2013, at the Epic nightclub in downtown Minneapolis. Washington, a member of a local gang, had been previously ordered by a court to stay away from downtown due to prior criminal activity, including threats made against police officers.
