Elizabeth Gannon, a 49-year-old woman from Green Tree, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on August 4, 2009, during a shooting at the LA Fitness health club in Collier Township, near Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. The incident, which also claimed the lives of two other women, Heidi Overmier and Jody Billingsley , was carried out by George Sodini, a 48-year-old man from Scott Township.
