In the summer of 2009, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, 49-year-old Elizabeth 'Betsy' Gannon, found her life tragically cut short in an act of senseless violence that shook the community of Scott Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A radiology technologist known for her vibrant personality and caring nature, Gannon was a familiar and welcome face to many, both in her neighborhood and at the local fitness center where she was a regular.
