On a Sunday evening in March 2014, the life of 22-year-old Britian Byrd was tragically cut short on a residential street in Chester, Pennsylvania. A Black male, Byrd was in the 700 block of West 9th Street when he was fatally shot on March 9, 2014. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they discovered Byrd suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
