Steven Powell, a 30-year-old male from Eldred Township, PA, tragically lost his life on March 19, 2014. Powell was fatally shot by his neighbor, Garry Flyte, during a violent altercation that also claimed the life of Powell's father, Jeffrey Place, aged 54. The incident occurred at Powell's residence on Meixell Valley Road, where Flyte, who was 54 years old at the time, allegedly shot Powell and Place before fleeing the scene.
