Shannon Bongartz, a 28-year-old woman from New Kensington, PA, tragically lost her life on August 20, 2014. She was found dead in the street near a parked vehicle in the 400 block of Fourth Avenue. The incident occurred in broad daylight around 8:30 a.m., and neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. Bongartz was the girlfriend of John Russ, who was also found shot inside the vehicle.
