On October 29, 2014, Tara Sherri Bouie, a 42-year-old woman, was found shot dead in her home on Tenacity Trail in Mars, Pennsylvania. Her body was discovered by family members who had become concerned for her welfare and went to check on her. The 5-month-old baby was found unharmed next to her. Police determined that Bouie had succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head.
