In the quiet community of Souderton, Pennsylvania, a devastating series of events unfolded, forever altering the lives of one family. Trisha M. Hill Flick, a 36-year-old woman, was tragically killed on December 15, 2014, a victim of a horrific shooting spree that claimed the lives of six people. Her death was not a random act of violence but a calculated attack by her brother-in-law, Bradley Stone.
The night of the tragedy, Stone embarked on a violent rampage, targeting multiple members of his ex-wife's family. Armed with at least one knife and two handguns, he first arrived at the Souderton home of Trisha and her husband, Aaron 'A.J.' Flick, around 3:30 a.m. There, he brutally attacked the couple and their two children. Trisha suffered fatal gunshot wounds to her face and right forearm, in addition to an incision wound on her head. Her husband, Aaron, was also killed, succumbing to gunshot wounds to his head and right hand, as well as stab wounds to his head and arm. Their 14-year-old daughter, Nina, was also tragically killed. The couple's 17-year-old son, Anthony, was the sole survivor of the attack in their home, sustaining significant cutting injuries and blunt-force trauma to his head.
The violence did not end there. After leaving the Flick residence, Stone continued his deadly path, traveling to Lansdale where he murdered Trisha's mother, Joanne Hill Gilbert, and her grandmother, Patricia Hill. His final act of violence was the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Hill, at her apartment in Lower Salford Township. The motivation for this devastating rampage was a bitter custody dispute over Stone's two daughters with his ex-wife.
The manhunt for Bradley Stone, a 35-year-old former Marine, gripped the region with fear. His spree of violence left a trail of grief and a community in shock. The search for Stone concluded when his body was discovered in a wooded area. His death was ruled a suicide, caused by a drug overdose from a combination of trazodone and risperidone. Prior to his death, he had inflicted superficial cutting wounds on himself.
