In the early morning hours of December 27, 2014, the life of 43-year-old Kimberly Waller, a Black female from East Liberty, was tragically cut short in the Knoxville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A 911 call just before 6:30 a.m. reported a vehicle had struck a pole on Dove Way. When first responders arrived, they discovered Ms. Waller inside the car, unresponsive. It was soon determined that she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
