Jelson Dejesus Ortiz, a 34-year-old Hispanic male from Reading, PA, tragically lost his life on April 9, 2018, in Cornwall, PA. Ortiz was one of two men found shot in a vehicle that crashed on Route 72 near the Route 322 West exit ramp. The other victim, Alexis Rafael Perez Garcia, aged 27, also succumbed to gunshot wounds. Ortiz died from two gunshot wounds to the chest, while Garcia suffered a single gunshot wound to the shoulder.
