Daniel Stein, a 71-year-old man from Pittsburgh, PA, was tragically killed on October 27, 2018, during the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting at the Tree of Life Congregation in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Stein, who was of Jewish ethnicity, was a beloved member of the New Light Congregation and was remembered as a kind and helpful individual who always lent a hand to those in need. He was also a family man who recently became a grandfather.
