On May 26, 2020, Ashley Belson, a 34-year-old woman from Lansford, Pennsylvania, was tragically found dead in her home along with her 9-year-old daughter, Ava Lerario, and her husband, Marc Lerario. The Carbon County coroner confirmed that all three victims died from gunshot wounds to the head. The deaths of Ashley Belson and Ava Lerario were ruled as homicides, while the manner of death for Marc Lerario remains under investigation.
