Death by Force

John Robert Evans, a 29-year-old male from Kingston, PA, tragically lost his life on June 6, 2020. He was fatally shot in the early morning hours while sitting inside an SUV in a parking lot at the Hilltop Apartments in Edwardsville, Luzerne County. His friend, Eli Quadree Smith, who was also in the vehicle, was wounded but survived the attack. Witnesses reported that a man approached the SUV, briefly spoke to Evans, and then opened fire without warning.
